Secretary Jenny Atta PSM
Jenny Atta PSM has been Secretary of the Department of Health since March 2025.
A highly experienced leader in the Victorian Public Service, Jenny was previously Secretary of the Department of Education and has held senior executive roles in the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) and worked cross a range of portfolios in the former Department of Human Services.
Jenny holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Public Policy. In recognition of her contributions to strategic social policy reform and delivery in Victoria she was awarded a Public Service Medal in June 2021. She was also inducted as a Victorian Fellow of the Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA) in 2019 and currently serves as President of the IPAA Victoria Board.
