Our Digital Health branch develops and publish digital health standards and guidelines to assist public health services with digital applications.
This includes resources which can:
- guide and support Victoria public health services on the principles, best practices, and approach to their Information and Communications Technology (ICT) delivery, ensuring these are current and up-to-date.
- provide guidance on strategic approaches to architecture and standards on digital health programs. This aligns them with national and international practices, and ensures they reflect the diverse health ICT environment in Victoria.
- guide digital health initiatives for the Victorian health system as a whole, as part of its digital transformation journey.
